COP(^_^)

Last Friday, we went to COP!!! Which did you do snowboarding or skiing? I chose snowboarding because i have gone snowboarding more than 10 times. It was my first time to do snowboarding in Canada.
Frist I joined a lesson, after that I rode a lift then, slided down a snow-covered hill many times. There was just fake snow in COP, but it was good. I didn't wear a lot of clothes so I felt very freezing. My toes didn't feel nothing while I was doing snowboarding. I should have worn more than 2 socks.
Snowboarding was great. I was also very happy to get on a school bus. I like it so much. It's so cute, isn't it?? I like it because I like "SNOOPY". Charlie Brown who is a snoopy's owner in this animated cartoon usually gets on a yellow school bus. It's a exactly same as a Canadian school bus. We have school buses for preschool students in Japan, but they are not cute as Canadians'. I have taken many Canadian school bus's pictures. It was my kinds of dream to ger on it☆

Lunch in the chursh

I wen to the church with my homestay family on last Saturday. I go there twice a month. We usually arrive there at 11:00 and stay until 1:00. This time, we had the lunch party after praying. Everyone brought something to eat or something to drink. We brought some vegetarian curry. Nobody brought food with meat. If I have a party and I have to bring something in Japan, I will not care about food which has meat. Almost every Japanese people don't have strong religion. I don't have any food which I can't eat or I don't eat. My homestay mother doesn't eat any pork and drink milk and coffee, but she eats chicken and beef insted of pork and drinks soy milk insted of milk. After I came here, my food style changed a lot. For example, I didn't used to eat any black beans, but I eat them every day. I used to drink milk, but I drink soy milk every day. I don't have any complaint. As you know this expression,
"When in Rome, do as the Romans do."
In my situation, it's not Romans. It's Canadians. hahaha(^_^) To return to the church, I ate many kinds of vegetarian food and talked with people. We have known each other before we talked on last Saturday because we have met several times in the church. It was good opportunity!!! I spent nice time with great food and great people.

Banff!!

Hey guys! Are you enjoying this long weekend? Today I went to Banff with my homestay mother. We had the activity for Banff about one month ago, but that time I was very busy for the student visa problem. I really wanted to join the Banff's activity. My homestay mother knew that. I'm going to go back to Japan next month.Then she gave me a chance to go there.

We woke up early today and prepared. We planted to go there just 1 day, but you know girls usually bring a lot of stuff! We also brought many CDs, some snacks and blankets. Before leaving, I checked banff's weather. It's said that it will be much colder than Calgary. That why we brought blankets even we planted go there by a car. She likes to listen to music and sing songs. A way to go there, we sang songs together like the Karaoke. I don't usually listen to English songs, but I go to school with her almost everyday. So I remenbered some of her favorite songs. It was freezing and windy in Banff. We didn't have enough time to go to the hot spring. And we thought after the hot spring, we might be very tired and sleepy. I am ok, but she has to drive.. So we went shopping and enjoyed marvelous Rocky mountains! It was great, wonderful and tremendous day. I took many pictures. I put some of them. You can see them!

I heard from my friend that there are many japanese pepole in Banff. I heared some Japanese and saw lots of Japanese signs on the streets. I think they could be ski players or snowboard players. I want to go to Banff again for snowboarding!!!!!!

Last great vacation

I went to Guam with my friends last my vacation. Do you know Guam?? It's a part of USA and close to Saopan. It's also close to Japan. It took us about 3.5 hours to get there. The average temperature is 26℃. Guam is a tropical island.

Many Japanese people like to go there because it's close to Japan and there are lots of duty free stores. Most of Japanese people love branded stuff.

Fist day we went to the night market near by our hotel. That place was for tourists. People who live there performed and sold traditional food and souvenirs.

We stayed there for 4 days. Unfortunately,the wether was not so nice.. We had 3 cloudy days,but you can see the other day was wonderful!! We got a tan and did some activities at beach. After going back to our hotel, I found a tiny freckle on my back(;_:) It's ok because I can't see it without a mirror. haha

Recently almost evey my Japanese friends have gotten their jobs. After they start their jobs, it's difficult to travel .That's why we enjoyed a lot. It was our last trip in the school days.
